About

Amhairghin

As a member of my school’s Student Council I have always championed biodiversity and climate change issues. I closely follow environmental issues across the island of Ireland and was a guest at the launch of the all-island Environmental Justice Network Ireland (EJNI). I have voluntarily contributed video editing skills to the production of a short video for EJNI on biodiversity and the commons. I have attended Fridays for Futures demonstrations and given local television interviews to spread the word about inter-generational justice. I am an avid user of public parks and areas of outstanding conservation and wild nature e.g. Belvoir Park Forest and lough shores. I love camping with my family on the West Coast especially around Mullaghmore, Sligo, and Rossnowlagh.
