About

Jesse

I’m 13 and in my 1st year. I love animals, nature and art. My favourite animals are penguins and I am worried that the emperor penguin could be extinct within the next 30-40 years because of the icecaps melting. I am the youngest member of the Wexford Naturalists Field Club (by a lot). I have taken part in dawn/dusk choruses and seashore safari with Calmast, butterfly, bee and field study workshops with Biodiversity Ireland, and bat walks with Bat Conservation Ireland. I also record sightings for the Biodiversity Data Centre and participate in Bioblitz.
