My name is Jimmy and I work on understanding how people and the natural environment interact. Most of my research has been on managing our natural resources, including water, natural spaces, and biodiversity. This is really important in the face of climate change, a growing population and environmental impact, all of which can lead to a loss in biodiversity. My research has taken me to many parts of the world including Southeast Asia, the UK and of course Ireland, where I’m delighted to be part of a team training students to address our climate and environmental sustainability challenges.
